Welcome to St. Pius X School

St. Pius X School is a distinguished institution in New Mexico, renowned for its academic excellence, athletic achievements, artistic creativity, and nurturing school environment. Serving students in grades 6–12, we provide a college-preparatory education that is both affordable and accessible to families seeking an exceptional learning experience for their children.

Admissions Process

 At St. Pius X School, we welcome students from all educational backgrounds and are committed to making the process clear, supportive, and family-friendly.

For Students from Public or Private Schools

Application – OPEN NOW

Complete and submit the online application to begin the process. Once submitted, you’ll receive an email confirming receipt and outlining your next steps.

Recommendations

Two academic recommendations are required, typically from your student’s current teachers or an administrator. You will enter each recommender’s name and email address directly in the application. Recommendations are submitted electronically through our application portal.

School Records

Please request your student’s school records directly from their current school. Required documents include transcripts, report cards, and STAR testing results for the most recent completed grade.
For example, students applying for 6th grade must submit 5th grade report cards and 5th grade STAR results.

After you apply, you will receive a records release form by email. This form should be shared with your school’s registrar or counselor to authorize the release of records. Please watch for this email immediately after submitting the application.

Placement Exam & Admissions Tour Day (Grades 6–9)

Once the application is submitted, you will receive a link to register for the placement exam. This experience includes a student-led campus tour, giving both students and families the opportunity to see St. Pius X School in action.

Students who already have current STAR results on file will only be required to complete a writing assessment and participate in the campus tour.
