Transcripts, current standardized test scores and teacher/principal/counselor recommendations are used to determine acceptance.

  • High school placement test (HSPT) requires about 4 hours to complete, and tests verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, math skills, language arts skills, and science. Students should bring two no. 2 pencils, a bottle of water, and a snack. Calculators are not allowed.

  • 8th grade placement test will be the Pre-HSPT exam. This exam is the 7th grade version of the HSPT exam, which is what we use for placement into grade 9.

  • 6th & 7th grade exam will be College Equipped Readiness Tool (CERT). It is based on the ACT, and it takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
