Week of 11/13 to 11/17

Monday 11/13: UNM Air Force ROTC visit
 
Representatives from the ROTC program at UNM will be on campus during all the lunch periods to chat with students about opportunities for them.
 
Wednesday 11/15: FAFSA Information Night 6 p.m. Library
 
NMEAF will be on campus hosting an informational night to update parents and students on the upcoming opening of the FAFSA. They will give you info on what to expect and answer any questions you may have. It is good for seniors and their families to attend.
 
Friday 11/17: Counselors at CNM Counselor Conversations 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
 
Counselors will be out attending the Counselor Update for CNM. Please contact Mr. Horton, Dr. Marquez, or Nurse McNew with any counseling emergencies.

Accommodations and SOAR Program
 
As folks are applying and registering for next school year, it is imperative that they disclose any learning disabilities or difficulties that their son or daughter may have as well as submit the paperwork that proves the disability. This way, their son or daughter can get the extra support via accommodations here at Saint Pius. If they have questions regarding this they may contact Nick Madrid.

Influenza Vaccines/updated COVID-19 Vaccines:
 
Flu Shots and the updated COVID-19 shot are available at Albertsons, Smiths, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Costco, Sam's Club, and independent pharmacies. Visit vaccines.gov and find an appointment near you.
 
COVID Tests:
 
Four free at-home COVID tests per household can be ordered at covid.gov/tests
 
Free COVID test kits are still available from the SPX nurse's office.
 
If you or a student have symptoms, test as soon as possible. If the test is negative and you are still having symptoms 2 days later, test again. Notify the nurse of any positive tests (staff or students) at 505-831-8445 or [email protected].
