Accommodations and SOAR Program
As folks are applying and registering for next school year, it is imperative that they disclose any learning disabilities or difficulties that their son or daughter may have as well as submit the paperwork that proves the disability. This way, their son or daughter can get the extra support via accommodations here at Saint Pius. If they have questions regarding this they may contact Nick Madrid.
From the Nurse’s Office
Influenza Vaccines/updated COVID-19 Vaccines:
Flu Shots and the updated COVID-19 shot are available at Albertsons, Smiths, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Costco, Sam's Club, and independent pharmacies. Visit vaccines.gov and find an appointment near you.
Four free at-home COVID tests per household can be ordered at covid.gov/tests
Free COVID test kits are still available from the SPX nurse's office.
If you or a student have symptoms, test as soon as possible. If the test is negative and you are still having symptoms 2 days later, test again. Notify the nurse of any positive tests (staff or students) at 505-831-8445 or [email protected].
We are proud of our 8th grade student-athletes. They continue to do a great job managing their academics and athletics during fall sports.
