Graduation Update

Class of 2022 & Parents
The FINAL Sprint!

If you have financial obligations, fines, uniforms, service hours to turn in...do this NOW so you will leave campus with an actual diploma on Wednesday.

Tuesday - Honors Convocation and Baccalaureate Mass
6:00 pm at St. Joseph’s on the Rio Grande Parish (5901 St. Joseph Drive NW)
St. Joseph’s is hosting this event. Their staff will stream the event, May 24th at 6 PM, on their Facebook page at saintpi.us/honorsconvoandmass. You may take pictures on campus or in front of the church for your “own” robing ceremony.

Seniors should wear gowns and the SPX chevron. No cap or tassel. Dress nicely - no jeans or tennis shoes. Also, all guests are asked to dress appropriately for MASS - no midriff, bare shoulders, etc. - Remember, this is a Mass which the Archbishop will be celebrating!
Your senior poster and senior tee shirt will be available after Mass in the Lobby of the church. Please pick them up on your way out!

Wednesday - Graduation
8:30 AM at Ben Rios Field - SPX Campus
Gates and Gyms will be open at 7:30am. Families can claim their chairs. Each family will have 6 chairs. However, if you need more, there will be extras in the back, or ask another family that is not using all of theirs. If you have more than 8 in your party, some will need to sit in the back near the big tent. Please be considerate to all of our families. No tents or large umbrellas, as the view can easily be blocked.

Seniors are to wear their graduation gowns, SPX chevron, cap with tassel over dressy attire - again, no jeans or tennis shoes. Do not decorate your Graduation cap. If you do, it will be replaced with another plain cap. Do not have your special time taken away from you because you decided not to dress properly for your graduation!

Our historian and photographer will provide his services, and the ceremony will be recorded and posted ASAP.

Seniors are to report to the Main Gym or the Auxiliary Gym (same as last week at practice) by 7:45am to get checked in and lined up. Do not bring extra things with you.

The ceremony should take just over 90 minutes!
