Sartan Madison Fellow

For a second time, America’s most prestigious honor in constitutional history and government for secondary teachers was awarded to a St. Pius X High School faculty member! Elisa Machtinger ’99, Social Studies Department Chair, was recently notified of her selection by the James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation. As a James Madison Graduate Fellow, she will travel to Washington D.C. to study at Georgetown University and receive $24,000 towards her second master’s degree.
