AP and Honors Courses

Honors and AP Course Grades

A 5-point grade scale is weighted to reflect the difficulty of Honors and AP courses. AP students are required to take their specific AP exam(s) in May. The final grade for an AP course at St. Pius X is based on the teacher's personally developed grading criteria for the course. AP scores are independently recorded as prospective college credit. (See the SPX mission and philosophy of AP Courses.)
