St. Pius X School Named #1 Best High School for Athletics in New Mexico by Niche

St. Pius X School has claimed the top spot in New Mexico for high school athletics, earning the title of #1 Best High School for Athletics in the state in the latest annual rankings released by Niche.

Each year, Niche releases its rankings in October based on data from the previous academic year. These rankings incorporate a comprehensive analysis of dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews from students and parents. The athletics category specifically evaluates factors such as student and parent survey feedback on sports programs, the number of state championships, overall student participation in athletics, and the total number of sports offered by the school. In addition to reviews, Niche integrates data from the U.S. Department of Education to build a full picture of athletic offerings across the state.

St. Pius X leads the way with 24 total sports, reflecting a strong commitment to athletic opportunities and student involvement. The school’s long-standing tradition of excellence across a wide range of sports, from football and soccer to swimming and track, continues to thrive thanks to dedicated coaches, enthusiastic student-athletes, and an engaged community of supporters.
