SPX Mission statement

Dear Pius Parents,

Thank you to the over 500 grandparents who attended Grandparents Day. It was a wonderful event, and we were so grateful to Archbishop Wester for taking the time to celebrate the Mass with us and to stay after to greet our special guests. Thank you to Julie Cook and the Advancement Office for their hard work. We were blessed by our parent volunteers who assisted us throughout the day.

Let’s Go! The Annual Fund is off to an amazing start, and we have already raised over $180,000 in the first two weeks. We are asking for everyone to contribute, no matter the level, to help us reach our goal and support our students and faculty.

Our Annual Fund priorities are to:
  • Enrich the academic experience through internship and entrepreneurship electives, workforce for tomorrow skill building, academic support services, and STEM to become the school of innovation in New Mexico.
  • Provide tuition assistance so that a Catholic education is attainable for our families.
  • Enhance extracurricular programs such as athletics, fine arts, campus ministries, ACADEC, and student activities.
  • Maintain, update, and repurpose campus buildings and outdoor spaces that the school now owns.
As an added bonus, the David C. Chavez Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, will match dollar for dollar all gifts made today through September 30th, up to $10,000!

Every gift supports the classes, teams, clubs, and activities that your students enjoy on a daily basis. Our Annual Fund has reached nearly $200,000 towards our $500,000 goal.

We are pleased to announce a number of St. Pius X seniors are being recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program.
