Fine Arts

The Fine Arts Department fosters creativity and perseverance by offering a wide range of visual and performing arts courses. Though the content and teaching methodologies are diverse, each course offers opportunities to develop an aesthetic and critical sensibilities. Students create and interpret works of art, developing respect and understanding of the creative process.

St. Pius X recognizes students as both creators and potential patrons of the arts. The arts foster an appreciation of the unique styles, gifts, insights and human awareness.

Through the study of and participation in the arts, students gain insights into various peoples and cultures, and through self-expression gain insights into themselves.
